PLEASE NOTE: This is a Temporary Contract. This position is responsible for facilitating the day-to-day operations of the department, including administration of budget, office procedures, oversight of workflow, and related academic processes.

College diploma in a related filed (e.g Office Administration) is required. A University degree would be an asset.

3 years related administrative experience including budgetary and workflow oversight responsibilities in a post secondary environment.

Excellent oral communication including ability to provide detailed information and answer enquiries in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to attend accurately to detail;
Ability to work effectively under pressure of high volume with frequent interruptions;
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills including planning and coordinating;
Ability to work effectively independently, set priorities and meet deadlines;
Ability to exercise good judgment and initiative;
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team;
Ability to administer budgets; and analytic skills.

Computer skills including:
Advanced Word processing (MS Word);
Advanced Spreadsheet (MS Excel);
E-mail (Lotus Notes);
On-line student records system (Student Information System);
Academic Resource Management System.
